PERFORMING EXPERIENCE:
- In the past years Haroldo Mauro's has presented concerts and workshops at St. Petersburg College, played at Boston's Top of the Hub, Bostonian and Four Seasons hotels; played at the First Amazon Jazz Festival in Brazil with Brazilian composer Thiago de Mello; recorded in New York and Brazil with Thiago de Mello and American clarinetist Dexter Payne (both are among the ten best musicians in their own categories by Down Beat's Readers Pool of 2007).
- In Brazil Haroldo Mauro has produced and recorded his CD Bossa na Pressão, choosen one of the best jazz albums of 2006 by All About Jazz critic Dan McClenaghan, with bassist Sergio Barrozo and drummer Duduka da Fonseca, and presented several jazz concerts with his own trio.
- Taught music workshops at Westlake School, in Mt. Pleasant, NY; performed at the Zinc Bar in New York City.
- Worked with tap dancer Brenda Bufalino and other dancers at the Fifth Royal Dutch Tapdance Festival in Apeldoorn, Holland; performed at the SW9 Bar Cafe in London with bassist Ricardo Santos, alto saxophonist Nick Holmes and drummer Andrea Trilló.
- Featured composer and pianist on 2004 CD release of a rare recording of Brazilian drummer Edison Machado Obras II: O Pulo do Gato, put out by Whatmusic of London.

Performed extensively in the New York area clubs and theaters from 1976 to 1990. Places include The Blue Note, Sweet Basil, Village Gate, Town Hall and many others. Performed mainly jazz and Brazilian popular music.
- In Brazil worked with the bands of Edison Machado and Victor Assis Brasil, the two most prominent Brazilian musicians of the late 60's.
